Vineyard and Vineyard Site as a 3D Relief
Handmade in the Bavarian Alps.

A vineyard can be made as a 3D relief: in the live 3D configurator you search for the place by name, move the area and check the relief from all sides before you order. We 3D print it from exact LiDAR elevation data and mount it on a solid wood base of oak or stone pine, with the winery, vineyard site and vintage in the engraving. For wineries the relief works as a gift for regular customers or to show the vineyard sites in the tasting room, for wine lovers as a reminder of the site of their favorite wine.

Can I order my vineyard as a 3D model?

Yes, in the live 3D configurator any area in the world can be chosen. You search for the place by name, move the area until the vineyard and its surroundings fit, and see the relief from all sides before you order. Wineries order their vineyard site as a relief from us, also with the site drawn in from a KML file. The relief comes in five sizes from 10 × 10 cm to 28 × 28 cm, as a Base (desk version) or a Wall (wall relief).

Are the vine areas shown in color?

Not as a color of their own. Relief Natural shows forest, meadow, rock, water and snow in true-to-nature coloring, and vine areas have no separate color in it. Relief Classic is single-colored and shows only the shape of the terrain. If you want to highlight your own site on the relief, have it drawn in from a KML file.

Can the exact vineyard site be drawn in from a KML file?

Yes, as a custom order on request. You send us the site as a KML file and we draw it in on the relief; requests go through our B2B page. For a wine hike, on the other hand, Relief Track is the right choice: the route lies in the terrain as a raised, modeled 3D line, uploaded as a GPX file or as a link to Strava, Komoot or Garmin.

How does a flat site or a steep slope look as a relief?

Flat sites look more three-dimensional with vertical exaggeration, and the height scaling can be adjusted in the configurator. The flatter the terrain, the more a stronger exaggeration helps. Before you order, the preview shows from all sides how the chosen setting looks. For steep slopes as for flat sites: an area that includes the valley and the surrounding slopes places the vineyard in its terrain.

What can be engraved on the base?

The laser engraving in the wooden base has up to three lines, on Base and Wall alike, and the content is up to you. For a winery, the winery name, vineyard site and vintage work well, plus coordinates or elevation. Everything is engraved exactly as entered. The winery logo can also be engraved, as a custom order: you send it as a vector file, with a preview and approval by email.

Is there a volume discount for wineries?

Yes, from 10 pieces, for example for gifts to regular customers, employees or business partners. Requests with the site, quantity, size and type of wood go through our B2B page. Every relief is made individually in our workshop in the Bavarian Alps. We ship to over 35 countries, duties included for deliveries abroad. For the tasting room the Wall (wall relief) works well, for a shelf or sales counter the Base (desk version).

What do you give a wine lover who has everything?

The site of their favorite wine as a relief, with winery, site and vintage in the engraving. You find the area in the configurator via the winery's location, and before you order the preview shows whether the slope and surroundings are in view. A multi-colored Relief Natural shows forest, meadow and water around the vineyard, Relief Classic the pure shape of the terrain.
