Mountain Vacation Souvenir: Your Destination as a 3D Relief
Handmade in the Bavarian Alps.

As a souvenir of your mountain vacation, we make your vacation destination as a 3D mountain relief: the local mountain, the valley or the hut, on a solid wood base and engraved with the place and year. You search for the area by name in the live 3D configurator, anywhere in the world, and see the relief from all sides before you order. As Relief Natural it shows forest, meadow, rock, water and snow, in summer or winter mode, depending on when you were there.

Which places are ordered as vacation keepsakes?

Orders include huts, vacation rentals and vacation destinations. You set the area yourself: the summit above the resort, the valley with your accommodation or the hut where you stayed overnight. The relief shows the landscape with ridges, valleys and summits, as a reminder of a family vacation or of the weeks you spend in the same place every year.

Can our hike from the vacation go on the relief too?

Yes, with Relief Track. The route becomes part of the relief as a raised, modeled 3D line, not printed on, in red or white as the contrast color. You upload the GPX file or add a link to Strava, Komoot or Garmin; you can also send it by email after ordering. Up to two tracks fit on one relief, for example the parents' summit tour and the shorter loop with the kids.

Summer or winter: what does the destination look like on the relief?

Relief Natural is multi-colored, with forest, meadow, rock, water and snow in true-to-nature coloring. In summer mode it shows the place the way you experienced it hiking, in winter mode the way you saw it on a ski vacation; you set the snow line yourself. If the shape of the mountains is the focus, the single-color Relief Classic fits.

What gets engraved on a vacation relief?

The laser engraving in the wooden base has up to three lines, on Base and Wall alike. About two in three orders carry an engraving, and just under half of those include a date. For a vacation, the place and year fit well, as do the name of the hut, the coordinates of your accommodation or the names of the family. If you go to the same place every year, the engraving can say exactly that, for example “The Bergers · Wilder Kaiser · since 2014”. Everything is engraved exactly as entered, and standard emojis are possible.

What can we give the hosts of our vacation rental?

A relief of the place where the vacation rental is located, with a thank-you and the year of your stay in the engraving. As a desk version it stands on a shelf or dresser, as a wall relief it hangs in the apartment. As a small host gift, size S at 10 × 10 cm works well; for a larger spot, XL at 25 × 25 cm or XXL at 28 × 28 cm.

We don't know the area yet, what now?

In the configurator you search for the place by name and move the area until it fits; the preview shows the relief from all sides. If you want to leave the choice to the recipients, give a gift card: to download and print, valid for two years.

Where is the relief made?

Every relief is made individually in our workshop in the Bavarian Alps: 3D printed from exact LiDAR elevation data and mounted on the solid wood base, oak or stone pine. There are five sizes from 10 × 10 cm to 28 × 28 cm. We have been making reliefs since 2022 and ship to over 35 countries, duties included for deliveries abroad.
