For exactly that place we make a 3D mountain relief: the mountain, the hut or the trail you walked together, on a solid wood base and engraved with your names and the date. Why a mountain relief makes a good wedding gift

One in ten of our engravings carries two names. Couples order the summit where they got engaged, the hut where they said yes or the destination of their honeymoon. The relief shows the place the way you experienced it, with ridges, valleys and peaks, and then stands in your shared home. It is a gift that refers to a story only the two of you know.

The most common occasions

  • Engagement: the summit or viewpoint where the question was asked.
  • Wedding: the mountain above the ceremony or the hut of the celebration.
  • Honeymoon: the region where you spent your first days together.
  • Anniversary: for the fifth anniversary, traditionally the wood anniversary, the oak or stone pine base fits well. Reliefs are also ordered for golden and diamond anniversaries.
  • Gift from the guests: friends and family give the couple their home mountain.

Which relief suits you?

Relief Classic shows the mountain in a single colour, ideal when the shape is the focus. Relief Natural is multi-coloured: forest, meadow, rock, water and snow in true-to-nature colouring, and you set the snow line yourself, in summer or winter mode. Relief Track carries your route as a raised 3D line, for example the climb to your engagement summit. All three come from 10 × 10 cm to 28 × 28 cm, as a desk piece or a wall relief.

What can be engraved on the base?

The laser engraving is permanent in the wooden base, up to three lines, on the desk version and the wall relief alike. Common are your names, the date and the place, for example “Marie & Stefan · 14.05.2024”, plus the summit name with its elevation or the coordinates. Whatever you enter is engraved exactly as written.

Can two routes go on one relief?

Yes. In the configurator two tracks can be combined on one relief, for example your two routes to the same summit or the way there and back on your honeymoon. You upload the routes as GPX or add a link to Strava, Komoot or Garmin.

We don't know the exact place, what now?

In the live 3D configurator you search for the place by name and move the area until it fits, and the preview shows the relief from all sides before you order. If you want the couple to decide themselves, give a gift card: to download and print, valid for two years.

Where is the relief made?

Every relief is made individually in our workshop in the Bavarian Alps: 3D printed from exact LiDAR elevation data and mounted on the solid wood base, oak or stone pine. Since 2022 we have shipped reliefs to many countries, and duties are included in the price for deliveries abroad.
