Can I order a ski area as a relief?

Yes. Ski areas and ski tours in winter mode are among the subjects ordered from us. In the live 3D configurator you search for the place by name, move the area until it fits and see the relief from all sides before you order. The relief shows ridges, slopes and valleys the way you know them from the lift or from the skin track.

What does a relief in winter mode look like?

Relief Natural is multi-colored: forest, meadow, rock, water and snow in true-to-nature coloring. There is a summer and a winter mode, and you set the snow line yourself, low for a day in midwinter, higher for a tour in spring. If you prefer to show the pure shape, choose the single-color Relief Classic.

Can I have my ski tour drawn in as a line?

Yes, with Relief Track. The track becomes part of the relief as a raised, modeled 3D line, not printed on, in red or white as the contrast color. You upload the GPX file or add a link to Strava, Komoot or Garmin; you can also send it by email after ordering. Up to two tracks fit on one relief: the ascent and descent of a ski tour or two tours on the same mountain. That way even a single downhill run becomes a 3D model.

Which ski reliefs are available ready-made?

On this page you will find the Relief Track Sella Ronda in the ski version and the race runs on the Lauberhorn in Wengen and on the Hahnenkamm, each with the course as a raised line. Any other run and any other tour you put together yourself in the configurator and upload the route.

What gets engraved for a ski tour?

The laser engraving in the wooden base has up to three lines, on Base and Wall alike. About two in three orders carry an engraving. Customers engrave elevation, date, distance, elevation gain and finish time; for a ski tour the summit, date and elevation gain of the ascent fit well, for a ski area the place and the winter. Everything is engraved exactly as entered, and standard emojis are possible.

Wall relief or desk version: which suits a ski relief?

Sizes range from S at 10 × 10 cm through M, L and XL to XXL at 28 × 28 cm, as a Base (desk version) or a Wall (wall relief). The desk version stands on a shelf or desk, the wall relief hangs in the hallway or in the ski cabin; both carry up to three lines of engraving. The base is solid wood, oak or stone pine.

Where is the relief made?

Every relief is made individually in our workshop in the Bavarian Alps: 3D printed from exact LiDAR elevation data and mounted on the wooden base.
