Kilimanjaro and Expeditions as a 3D Relief
Handmade in the Bavarian Alps.

As a gift after Kilimanjaro or another expedition, we make the summit as a 3D mountain relief: the mountain as a model, on the Relief Track with the ascent route as a raised line, plus the summit, date or coordinates engraved in the solid wood base. Kilimanjaro is available ready-made, among others with the Machame Route, and Mount Everest as a Relief Classic. You choose any other summit yourself in the live 3D configurator, anywhere in the world, from six-thousanders to high alpine tours.

Which expeditions do people order as a relief?

Orders include Kilimanjaro, Island Peak, Ama Dablam, the Everest region, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. These are summit keepsakes: the relief shows the mountain with its ridges and valleys, and the engraving in the base records when you stood on top. If you collect the Seven Summits or several expeditions, you order each summit as its own relief; in the same size and on the same wood they become a series.

Is Kilimanjaro available as a ready-made relief?

Yes. On this page you will find, among others, the Relief Track Kilimanjaro with the Machame Route as a raised 3D line. If you took a different route, you choose the area yourself and upload your own recording. The summit elevation goes into the engraving exactly as you enter it.

Can I put my ascent route on the relief?

Yes, with the Relief Track. The route becomes part of the relief as a raised, modeled 3D line, not printed on, in red or white as the contrast color. You upload a GPX file or add a link to Strava, Komoot or Garmin. If the recording is not ready yet, you send the track by email after ordering. Up to two tracks fit on one relief, for example ascent and descent on different routes.

What do you engrave after an expedition?

The laser engraving is permanent in the wooden base, with up to three lines, on Base and Wall alike. About two out of three orders carry an engraving, and just under half of those include a date. Customers engrave the elevation, date, kilometers, elevation gain or their finish time. A suggestion for three lines: summit and elevation, the date of the summit day, the route or the coordinates. Standard emojis are possible, and everything is engraved exactly as entered.

Which relief suits the Everest Base Camp trek?

For the Everest region there is the ready-made Relief Classic Mount Everest, single-colored, with the shape of the mountain in focus. To show your own way to Base Camp, take the Relief Track with your recorded trekking route as a line. In the live 3D configurator you search for the place by name, move the area and see the relief from all sides before you order.

Does this work for 4,000ers and high alpine tours?

Yes. You choose Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn like any summit in the configurator, and the Matterhorn and the Grossglockner are also available ready-made as Relief Classic. For high alpine tours, the Grossglockner normal route and the Gran Paradiso normal route, among others, are ready-made Track reliefs. If snow and rock should appear in color, the Relief Natural fits: forest, meadow, rock, water and snow in true-to-nature coloring, and you set the snow line yourself.

How is the relief made?

Every relief is made individually in our workshop in the Bavarian Alps, 3D printed and mounted on a solid wood base, oak or stone pine. There are five sizes from 10 × 10 cm to 28 × 28 cm, as Base (desk version) or Wall (wall relief). We ship to over 35 countries, duties included for deliveries abroad. If the recipient should choose the summit, there is the gift card to download and print, valid for two years.
