In the summer of 1911, as a young man of just nineteen, Tolkien travelled with a group through the Swiss Alps. The Lauterbrunnen Valley impressed him deeply. The steep rock faces, thundering waterfalls, and snow-covered peaks left an indelible mark on him – and later served as the model for that peaceful Elven refuge you now know as Rivendell.

How long does production and delivery take?
Our reliefs are made individually for you. The production time is 2–8 working days, followed by shipping via DHL Standard (1–3 working days within Germany, longer internationally). If you need your relief by a specific date, please contact us – in many cases, we can prioritize orders or send them by express delivery.
What if I do not like my relief?

How precise is the relief?
Our 3D reliefs are based on precise geodata and are made using state-of-the-art 3D printing technology. This makes even the smallest height differences visible. The reliefs are to scale, so that distinctive peaks, valleys, and formations are depicted realistically.
Can I customize my relief?

What materials is the relief made of?

Do you also offer special sizes?
Yes! If you want a larger relief than our standard size (max. 28 × 28 cm), we can create a multi-part relief model. The individual segments are made to fit precisely – the joints are slightly visible but blend into the overall picture.
Alternatively, we can also offer rectangular, single-piece reliefs. Just write to us with your wishes – we will check what is possible!
